Meet the breeder

Hello! My name is Melissa and I have loved animals since I was a little girl. I turned that love into a career in 2006 when I began working at an animal hospital. I went to school and took state boards to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Within the Veterinary field my passion is dentistry, ultrasound, and taking care of hospitalized patients. While it can be a very emotional taxing job, I truly believe this is what I was meant to do.

I acquired my first Frenchie in 2001 before I started working in an animal hospital. She was a wonderful companion and she started my absolute love for the breed. Over the years I have seen many Frenchies in clinic with many of health issues. I was surprised at the lack of health testing from breeders and I decided to make it a goal to produce healthy puppies. Although I cannot control everything, I sure can try my hardest. I complete all OFA recommended testing as well as blood testing for genetic diseases on my females.

I am a small hobby breeder. This means that these girls are part of our family. We do not have a separate room for the dogs. They follow us around the house and have a 1/2 acre to run around on. Because I do not have a lot of breeding dogs puppies are very limited. I currently only have one breeding female at the moment so I only have maybe one litter a year.

These puppies are raised in my home with my cat, my large breed dog, two kids, and two other Frenchies. They get the best Veterinary care when needed and are raised with the Puppy Culture Program which gives them a great head start. When I have a litter if I’m not at work(I work part time) I am home with the puppies. I also have my wonderful sister who used to be a vet tech to be my puppy nanny when I am at work. My goal is to produce the best well rounded pups possible.
